The approximately 120 year old municipal house in Seelscheid has made long and moved history. It has accommodated important institutions with lots of friendly atmosphere. It served as a birthplace where about 500 babies were born, as a kindergarten with mother´s center, it was a welfare station and a nursing home. After 1970, doctors have practiced here for more than 25 years.
An occurred renovation back log and the continuing decline of the historical building fabric required a total renovation.
The acquisition of the ensemble of buildings opened the idea of a house for living, work and seminars to us. We have started with the extensive renovation in the year 2002. Considering the demands of historical monument conservation, an ecological construction method and the requirements of modern technology, the "old municipal house" became the seminar house in the Rhineland, the House in Movement
When entering, this estate with several wings around a cozy courtyard lets arise a little idyllic world.
The art noveau shaped hall with its 80 sqm and ceelings of 4-5 m offers space for courses like Yoga, Feldenkrais, Qi Gong, Karate, belly dance and eurythmy. However, dancing events, concerts, exhibitions also take place here as well as workshops, further and advanced educations. Among other things, two massage practices are located in the former men´s cottage which is extended by a modern glass annex today.

Besides to different affectionately designed rooms where mediation, consultations and coachings take place, an office of Have and Be Architecture, an engineering office for computer sciences as well as our living rooms are in the main house. An additional apartment is arranged in the lateral annex. A wine cellar and a wine depot is located in the rustic rubblestone cellar vault. Wine tastings and atmospheric evenings are a pleasure here. That way, work and life, hobby and occupation complement one another as a harmonic unity. We offers a guesthouse with additional areas and overnight accomodations for up to 5 persons off.
